Robert S. Greenberg, M.D.Clinical Advisor
Dr. Rob Greenberg, originally from the south shore of Long Island, New York, is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine & Pediatrics at the Bloomberg Children’s Center, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, Maryland. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology from The American University in Washington, D.C, and receiving his M.D. from Georgetown University, he moved to Baltimore. Interested in the management of critically ill children, Rob earned board certifications not only in General Pediatrics and Anesthesiology, but also Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Anesthesia. Early in his career, he became very interested in solving bedside challenges with technology. Innovation development, grounded in his experience in the day to day care of critically ill patients, became his passion. His focus relates more to practical, cost-effective, and efficient patient care rather than basic science trivia or minutia. A key for him is to stress rational organizational skills, systematic approaches towards problem solving, simple yet effective clinical techniques, and an appreciation of both high and low technology patient management skills. Rob is not only active as a clinician but also strives to excel as an educator (lecturing locally and around the world), and as a researcher in the lab.
